Volunteers from the “Cave of the Beloved” shelter approached a 34-year-old Hungarian woman, who was injured in the “Zonaria” area on Mount Olympus and notified the Fire Brigade.

The 34-year-old woman, who sustained a shoulder injury and is able to walk, will descend with the assistance of the shelter volunteers, where firefighters are also heading. She will then be taken to a safe location to be picked up by the EKAV.

A Fire Brigade drone is monitoring the operation to transport the 34-year-old woman. Fifteen firefighters from the 2nd and 8th EMAK are participating in the operation.
